Why use timber cutting boards.

There are so many reasons to use wooden cutting boards.

Some timbers have very good antibacterial properties because of the natural oils that is in the timber. Wood can also absorb and kill bacteria in a few minutes after contamination also using a Bees wax based polish will help improve this even more.

Timber cutting boards are very easy to look after since they just need to be wiped done front and back then left to dry. Every month or two wipe them down with Board polish to keep it looking great.

If the board ever has deep cuts or scratches a quick sand followed by a quick oil will get it looking better than ever.

Timber boards are also the best for keeping knives sharp, plastic and other material boards can dull a knife very quickly.

Every wood board will look different so each one will make its own statement inside your kitchen or when entertaining.
